Hello and welcome to my portfolio web site. Within this site you can find a collection of projects and graphics that I have produced, these each have extensive information on how they were created and the thinking behind them, including written and graphical explanations.

My name is Jason Ardener, I am 18 years old and am currently based in the south east of England in Essex and am approximately 35 minutes from central London.

For over 5 years I have built up an extensive knowlege of working with graphics and web design, producing many designs and web sites along the way such as web sites for small businesses, personal websites and the design for Interlopers.net, which has a very large weekly hit count.

At present, I am studying in College for a Btec National Diploma for IT Practitions. This course covers many aspects of IT, from hardware to business studies. It is mainly focused around programming using languages such as C++ and Visual Basic as well as several units that cover web design, web management and E-Commerce. I am on my second and final year of this course and I feel I am well on my way to reaching my target of DDD (triple distinction).

I will be going to The University of Kent to study for a BSc in Multimedia Technology and Design in September. This course covers many aspects of Multimedia such as web programming, design and Java, digital film making and editing and 3D modelling as well as various other modules.

Skillsets

I pride myself on having skills in all different areas of IT while focusing on Web Design. Below are examples of skills that I offer:

• Knowing the ins and outs of the stages of website development life cycle, from the pre-production to post-production like maintenance.
• I can advise on the benefits of and whether e-commerce is suitable and feasible for your company.
• I have experience of using industry standards and methods and follow the standard procesdures of development.
• I can advise on the best possible solutions and build on information provided and from my own research.
• I can offer basic training in maintaining and getting the most from your web site.
